2015 Miner Family Vineyards The Oracle
Country:Ā U.S.A.
Region:Ā Napa Valley
Vintage:Ā 2015
Cépage: Cabernet Sauvignon (55%); Merlot (27%); Cabernet Franc (13%); Petit Verdot (3%); Malbec (2%)
Size: 750 ml
Rating(s): 90 (JS)
"The 2015 vintage in the Napa Valley will be known for lower than average yields, but very high quality fruit. Higher than average temperatures occurred in late winter and early spring, resulting in an earlier bud break and bloom. Colder temperatures in May (in the peak of bloom) caused uneven fruit set, which resulted in a smaller crop compared to previous years. However, good things come in small packages and our winemaking team was very pleased with the results from this small and early vintage.Ā "
