2013 Miner Family Vineyards The Oracle
Country:Ā U.S.A.
Region:Ā Napa Valley
Vintage:Ā 2013
Cépage: Cabernet Sauvignon (57%); Cabernet Franc (22%); Merlot (17%); Petit Verdot (2%); Malbec (2%)
Size: 750 ml
Rating(s): NR
"Early, even and excellent are three words being used to describe this yearās growing season. A warm, dry Ā spring brought early bud break, helped with canopy vigor and berry size and created ideal conditions for f lowering and fruit set under sunny skies. With the exception of one heat spike in late June/early July, temperatures were consistently in the zone for optimal vine activity, resulting in notably healthy vines as fruit went through veraison and started ripening. Yields were above average for 2013, and the vintage was described as another nearly perfect year."
